SUNRISE, Florida (Ticker) -- The Florida Panthers finally made a move with Stephen Weiss on Wednesday, placing the centre on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Sidelined for the last five games, Weiss suffered the injury in a 5-4 loss to Anaheim on December 12. Prior to the ailment, the 23-year-old had registered seven goals and 10 assists in 32 games.
