KINGSTON, Ont. - Bobby Hughes scored three times and collected two assists to lead the Kingston Frontenacs to a 12-4 win over the Erie Otters in an Ontario Hockey League game played this afternoon in front of 2,007 at the Kingston Memorial Centre.

Bobby Bolt added two goals and three assists for the Frontenacs while Matthew Kang supplied a goal and two assists. Adam Nemeth, with two, Peder Skinner Josh Brittain Kyle Bochek and Nathan Moon rounded out the scoring.

Zack Torquato and Patrick Lee each had a goal and an assist for the Otters. Sean O'Connor and Kelly Geoffrey completed the scoring.

Kingston led 4-1 after one and 7-3 heading into the third.

The Otters lost for the second straight time and are now 9-27-0-2 on the season.

Kingston posted their second straight win and improved to 15-18-4-1.

The Frontenacs out shot the Otters 38-13 in the game as Justin Garay took the loss. The three stars of the game were all from the Frontenacs. Hughes was the first, Bolts the second and Kang the third.

The Otters return to action Friday when they travel to Mississauga to face off against the IceDogs in a 7:30 p.m. start. The game can be heard live on 1330 Erie's ESPN Radio on line at Welcome | Erie Otters (presented by the James H. Cross Company) beginning with the pre-game show at 7:15 p.m.

The next Otters home game takes place Saturday (January 6th) when the Sarnia Sting visit the Tullio Arena in a 7:30 p.m. start presented by Cellular One. It's also JetRadio 1400 Coats for Kids Night. Donate a reusable coat and receive a pair of tickets to the Otters game on January 24th. Limit one pair of ticket per person. Tickets for the game are available at all Erie-area TicketMaster locations as well as the Erie Civic Center Box Office.
