PETERBOROUGH, Ont. (CP) - Arron Alphonso's first period goal stood as the winner as the Ottawa 67's edged the Peterborough Petes 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Matt Lahey and Cody Lindsay also scored in the first period for the 67's (19-20-0-3), who snapped a four-game losing skid to move into a third-place tie with the Petes in the East Division.
