Bar bet over the weekend. I argued Orr (obviously), while my buddy from up north said it was Gretzky in a landslide.

My arguments for Orr:

- The pinnacle snapshop moment in sports
- Best two way player in sports
- Best skater in history
- Career was limited because of his knees

Clearly, there's not definitive answer, which is part of the fun of it, but I can't really find many expert takes. This is where I got most of my material:

Personally i like building from the back end so I'd rather build a team around Orr. There's not denying Gretz was a top 3 player to ever play (I'm talking Lemeiux, Gretz and Orr) but I just prefer to have a strong D. Having Orr on that back end give you a cornerstone to build around.
