MONTREAL - montreal forum

Original six mainly started in the early forties due to the financial problems NHL was having at that time. NHL players were assigned to world war 2. Original six also made good arenas, like you said. I haven't visited them all, infact the only one I ever got to visit was the Leafs Garden. Original Six is the main reason I believe hockey is how it was in the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s. It all ended in the 90s after they tore down the arenas and put in technologized ones. Original six was a great point in time for hockey :thumbsup:.
