Omaha scored four unanswered goals, including two from David Van der Gulik, as the Knights defeated the Toronto Marlies at home by a score of 5-2.

Curtis McElhinney, who was recently named to the Canadian All-Star Team in the 2007 Rbk Hockey AHL All-Star Classic, needed only 21 saves to secure the win for the Knights, who ended a three-game losing skid at home.

Ryan Donally, Warren Peters and Andrei Taratukhin, who also added an assist and was a plus-3, provided the other tallies on the night for Omaha.

Defenseman Chris Harrington and Jay Harrison tallied power-play goals in a losing effort for Toronto.
