SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - Marc-Andre Bergeron and Jarret Stoll each had a power-play goal and an assist in the first period, and the Edmonton Oilers kept the Sharks' vaunted power play off the ice in a 3-2 victory over San Jose on Wednesday night.

Mathieu Roy added his first career goal and Edmonton took a 3-0 lead in the first 11½ minutes. Dwayne Roloson made 32 saves for the Oilers, who held on in their first trip to the Shark Tank since last season's Western Conference semifinals, won in six games by Edmonton after San Jose took a two-game lead into overtime of Game 3.

Yes, it was a great win for the Oilers!!!

I hope they can go on a real run here, they need to get into the top 3 of the division. And they can do that by leaping over Minnesota with a win tonight!!! Plus the win will put them into the 8th spot in the conference.

So much for the Minnesota thing. Lots of chances but no finish.
No kidding!!!

Where did the team go from the night before? :dunno:

That's too bad to, they really needed to win the game, to move up in the standings, instead they fall further down the ladder!!
