(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks will try for a fourth consecutive victory this evening, when they welcome the Edmonton Oilers to HP Pavilion.

The Sharks, who are second in the Pacific Division with 56 points, earned their latest win Saturday night against visiting Columbus. Ryane Clowe netted his first career hat trick to lead San Jose past the Blue Jackets, 5-2.

Patrick Marleau had a goal and two assists, Joe Thornton added three helpers, and Christian Ehrhoff also tallied for the Sharks, who have posted their three-game streak on the heels of a four-game slide.

The turnaround comes less than one week after head coach Ron Wilson mixed up the front line, pairing top center Thornton with forwards Marleau and Mike Grier. The result has been six goals and 17 assists for that line in the last three contests.

Vesa Toskala recorded his 17th win of the season, as he stopped 17 of 19 shots between the pipes for San Jose.

On Tuesday, Thornton and Jonathan Cheechoo were named as starting forwards to represent the Western Conference in this year's NHL All-Star Game.

Tonight marks the end of a three-game homestand for San Jose, which is 15-7-0 at the Shark Tank this year.

The Oilers are coming off Monday's thrilling win in Los Angeles, as Jan Hejda tallied the game-winning goal 1:14 into overtime to lift Edmonton over the Kings, 2-1.
