REGINA (CP) - Kelowna Rockets scoring leader Troy Ofukany was traded to the Regina Pats on Thursday as part of a blockbuster six-player WHL trade.

Ofukany and forwards Kirt Hill and Kaspars Saulietis were shipped to the Pats in exchange for forwards Justin Bernhardt, Jason MacDonald and Kyle St. Denis.

Ofukany - known more for his role as a bruiser - emerged as Kelowna's top scoring option, leading the team with 20 points (12 goals, eight assists) in 30 games. The 19-year-old was also third on the Rockets with 67 penalty minutes.

Hill, 18, had seven goals, nine assists and 47 penalty minutes in 29 games with Kelowna.

Saulietis, 19, posted nine goals and eight assists in 24 games with the Rockets.

Bernhardt recorded seven goals and 10 assists in 25 games with the Pats. The 18-year-old centre had career highs in goals (22) and points (45) with Regina last season.

MacDonald, 17, had one goal in 18 games for the Pats.
