No changes for Habs

by Pat Hickey

There were no changes in the Canadiens' lines as they practiced this morning at the Sensplex in Kanata but coach Guy Carbonneau said he wouldn't hesitate to do some more juggling if the team doesn't play better.

Normally, the coach would think about using Georges Laraque in tonight's game but the Senators won't have their resident heavyweight, Chris Neil. He's out with a torn meniscus in his knee. The Sens are also missing Mike Fisher, who also has a knee injury.

Carey Price will make his third consecutive start in goal while Ottawa counters with Alex Auld.

New lines

by Mike Boone

Pat Hickey checks in from morning skate in Ottawa to report Guy Carbonneau has shuffled the deck again.

Guillaume Latendresse will be reunited with Saku Koivu and Alex Tanguay.

This one's intriguing: Tomas Plekanec centres Alex Kovalev and Christopher Higgins.

The third line has Robert Lang between Andrei Kostitsyn and Tom Kostopoulos.

The fourth line may be a game time decision, but it shapes up as Steve Bégin centring Georges Laraque and Sergei Kostitsyn.

Defence pairings stay the same.

Carey Price in goal.

for Laraque, the road to redemption starts tonight; kick Ruutu's sorry a$$ tonight and Lucic's on Saturday and all is forgiven.

Three cheers to that but if he goes back to that "I`m polite even though they`re dirty" crap I say ship him out to edmonton, rather we take our chances with penner even if he`s overpaid.
What a save by Price in the shootout!

We're lucky though. We're really not playing well and still managed to get 4 out of possible 6 points on the road trip. Here's hoping that Gainey is working on something if Sundin declines our invitation.
