DENVER (AP) - Fredrik Norrena got his second straight shutout as the Columbus Blue Jackets defeated the Colorado Avalanche 3-0 on Tuesday night for their first-ever win at the Pepsi Center.
Norrena stopped 42 shots, including 21 in the second period. Norrena made 21 saves in a 4-0 win over Edmonton on Saturday night.
Fredrik Modin scored with 4.3 seconds left in the second period. Jason Chimera and Anson Carter staked Columbus to an early lead with goals within a span of 2:38 in the first.
Peter Budaj stopped 18 shots. He shut out the Blue Jackets when he faced them Nov. 17, stopping 25 shots in a 3-0 win.
