The Admirals continued to keep their fans on the edge of their seats, as Norfolk defeated the visiting Albany River Rats 5-4 in a shootout.

Colin Fraser tallied two goals and defenseman Danny Richmond added two assists for the Admirals, who won their sixth-straight game and second overtime victory in-a-row.

Netminder Mike Brodeur made 24 saves and earned his first AHL victory in his first start for the Admirals this season.

Reed Low and Martin St. Pierre, who also tallied a goal in the shootout, each provided a goal in regulation for Norfolk, who takes on Albany again this Friday.

Ryan Bayda had a pair of goals and Keith Aucoin registered three assists for Albany, who has dropped four-straight games by one goal.
