The Admirals won its third game in four days with a 3-1 win at home against the Lowell Devils.
Rookie Troy Brouwer scored a pair of goals and Corey Crawford stopped 32 of 33 shots on the night for Norfolk, who moved into a tie for first place in the East Division and first overall in the league with a record of 26-8-4-1.
Brouwer now has six goals and 10 points in his last seven games for the Admirals.
Carl Corazzini and Martin St. Pierre each recorded a pair of assists on the night for Norfolk, who won its first three games on a current five-game home stand.
Rod Pelley recorded the lone goal for the Devils in the loss.
