KELOWNA, B.C. (CP) - Brock Nixon scored the game-winning goal with 7.9 seconds remaining in the third period as the Kamloops Blazers defeated the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Juuson Puustinen scored his 13th of the season to open the scoring two minutes into the first period. Ryan White also scored for Kamloops (19-7-1-1), which has now won five straight, including a 5-0 shutout of Kelowna on Friday.

Kirt Hill and Clayton Barthel replied for Kelowna (8-17-1-2), which was outshot 37-19 and has now lost six straight games.
