I think the league has to get the teams that they already have in the South under control!!!

So, no, I don't think a new team in the Southwest would be good!!

Depends on the league of course but there likely isn't room for a 31st franchise in the NHL. Cities that are ahead of Springfield, MO include Kansas City (with the new Spirit Arena nearing completion), Portland, Seattle and of course the return of the Canadian cities of Winnipeg and Quebec City.

Talk has restarted about the relocation of existing teams like the Penguins and the Panthers but doubt you'd see them heading into a 15,000 seat rink.

I think the NHL needs to focus on making sure all current teams are making money and can stay afloat.
The addition of a new team may be a burden. :thumbsdow

i agree with all of u's...i dnt think having a new team would be a good idea...theres plenty as it is now...
