TAMPA, Fla. (CP) - Forwards Petr Nedved and Niko Dimitrakos cleared NHL waivers and were assigned to the AHL's Philadelphia Phantoms on Thursday.

Defenceman Nolan Baumgartner also cleared waivers but stayed on with the Flyers.

The Flyers called up winger Stefan Ruzicka, defenceman Alexandre Picard and winger Ben Eager from the Phantoms and were expected to dress for Thursday's game against the Lightning.

Nedved, 34, had zero points and a minus-7 rating in six games. He's earning US$2.35 million this season and will be an unrestricted free agent July 1.

So, nobody wanted them?

I guess it's a good thing he didn't stay in Edmonton then. They have a strong and solid offence going.
