Neal and Brophey score in the shootout as Whalers down Sting 6-5

PLYMOUTH, Mich. (CP) - James Neal and Evan Brophey scored in the shootout to lead the Plymouth Whalers to a 6-5 victory over the Sarnia Sting in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday.
Brophey had two more in regulation, while Joe McCann, Dan Collins and John Armstrong had one each for the Whalers (10-9-0-0).
Steven Stamkos scored twice for Sarnia (13-5-0-1), while Jared Gomes, Daniel Lombardi, and Ryan Wilson added goals.
