(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks will try to end their Western Conference quarterfinal series in the Music City tonight, when they visit the Predators for Game 5 of the set at Nashville Arena.

After the clubs split the first two tilts in Nashville, the Sharks won back- to-back games at home to grab a 3-1 series' lead. San Jose now has a chance to advance to the conference semifinals with a win in this evening's matchup.

In Game 4 on Wednesday, Milan Michalek's two goals and Evgeni Nabokov's 23 saves led San Jose to a 3-2 triumph at HP Pavilion.

Joe Pavelski also scored for the Sharks, while Jonathan Cheechoo and Joe Thornton each registered a pair of assists in the victory.

Thornton, last season's Art Ross and Hart Trophy winner, is leading the Sharks with five points (5 assists) in this series. Michalek, Craig Rivet and Patrick Marleau are next with four points apiece.

San Jose once again struggled on the power play, failing to score on five chances with the man advantage. The Sharks are a dismal 1-for-23 on the power play in this series.
