The Coyotes didn't sign Mike Morrison so he could give Curtis Joseph a breather every now and then.

They signed the 27-year-old goalie because they needed a reliable backup who could play between 25-30 games.

"I've got to keep Curtis rested," coach Wayne Gretzky said. "Morrison is going to get some games."

He didn't look to reliable on Monday. I think they should have gone after Mike Dunham.
