The Source.Goaltender Alex Auld has signed a one-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens worth $1 million.

The Canadiens also re-signed goaltender Curtis Sanford. The 30-year-old spent last season with the Hamilton Bulldogs, going 23-11-3 with a 2.13 GAA and a .916 save percentage.
