Lewiston, ME - Despite outshooting the Wildcats by more than a 2-1 ratio, Moncton was able to hold on for a 4-2 win in front of a near capacity crowd of 3,517 Androscoggin Bank Colisée fans.

Moncton came out flying in the first period, scoring 4 unanswered goals to shock the MAINEiacs with such an early lead. The Moncton goal scorers were MacLellan, Magnan and Eagles with a pair. Despite being down 4-0, shots on goal were equal at 10 apiece after the first 20 minutes. In the second, Lewiston put on the pressure outshooting Moncton by a margin of 14-6 by could not find a way to put the puck past Moncton's Sniderman.

In the third, Lewiston kept the play in the Moncton zone, outshooting the Wildcats 16-1 came up short on only cutting the 4-goal lead in half. The first MAINEiacs goal came from David Perron, his 21st on the season. Pierre-Luc Faubert would tally his 20th on the year with just over 4 minutes remaining, but that would be as close as the MAINEiacs would come.
