Rich Peverley scored 44 seconds into overtime after Nicolas Corbeil scored twice in a six-plus minute span of the third period, leading the Milwaukee Admirals to a 3-2 victory over the Houston Aeros in the back end of a home-and-home at Bradley Center.
Peverley also added an assist on the night while all-star defenseman Sheldon Brookbank added two helpers for the Admirals, who avenged a 3-2 shootout loss to the Aeros on Thursday.
Karl Goehring stopped 23 of 25 shots to improve his record to 18-11-4 on the year.
Ryan Hamilton and Benoit Pouliot each had a goal in the loss for Houston, who like Milwaukee, had its last six games decided by one goal.
