Milan Lucic hit Jaroslav Spacek hard into the glass about five minutes into the second period of tonights Bruins-Habs game. I've made clips of both the CBC feed and NESN feed. You'd expect wildly different calls from Bob Cole's crew to Jack Edwards, but it wasn't the case with this could-have-been-but-probably-won't-be-controversial hit.
Both announcing teams went with similar mindsets: definitely a penalty, could be a major. Both also agreed the stressor in this situation, and what made the play worse than it could have been are the boards in Montreal. First up CBC, then NESN.
