Isak Quakenbush, with his first WHL goal, and Jan Eberle also scored for Seattle (6-4-1-5), which won its second straight contest despite playing its third game in three nights.
Kevin Boutilier, with his first WHL goal and Oscar Moller replied for Chilliwack (5-14-2-0), which has lost four straight following a three-game winning streak. Moller did, however, extend his points streak to 10 games (eight goals, eight assists). Mark Santorelli added an assist on Moller's goal, extending his points streak to 10 as well (seven goals, 12 assists).
After the Bruins took a 2-1 first-period lead, it was all Seattle.
McKenzie scored his first of the night at 11:19 of the second period, beating Bruins goalie Jim Watt on the blocker side on a 2-on-1.
Exactly five minutes later, Quakenbush, a 16-year-old rookie, scored the winner. The six-foot-five, 220-pounder drove to the net and on a second chance whacked the puck past Watt.
