I have watched a few Lightning games and have noticed Martin St. Louis is playing nothing like he was last year. Last year he was the best skater on the ice and got the most points in the league. He got 94 TP in 82 GP which is pretty good. This year however he isn't racking up any points. He has 47 points in 64 games. I don't think he will be getting more points than games this year. His style of play is bad and he looks like he is putting in no effort at all. I guess the new rules don't click with his style of play.
Other Lightning players from last year have been playing the same or better such as Lecavalier, Richards, and Prospal. The Lightning however aren't in first or second place in the East like they were last year. They are in seventh place in the East which is good. They are a well coached team.
