(Sports Network) - The Toronto Maple Leafs look to continue their torrid play as they wrap up a five-game road trip tonight with a showdown against the Central Division-leading Nashville Predators.

Toronto has put itself back in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff picture by ripping off a season-best five consecutive victories. Four of those wins have come on this current road swing, the most recent being a 2-1 decision over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.

Andrew Raycroft put forth another outstanding performance between the pipes, as the netminder made 19 saves, including a spectacular diving stop in the third period to preserve the lead.

Raycroft, who was named on the NHL's First Star of the Week on Monday, has posted a 1.18 goals against average and a .959 save percentage over the course of the five wins.

Alex Steen scored the deciding goal and Alexei Ponikarovsky also lit the lamp for Toronto, which is on its longest win streak since a six-game run from December 23-January 2 of last season. Mats Sundin added an assist and has now notched a point in five straight contests.

The Maple Leafs, winners of eight of their last nine on the road, are an impressive 16-9-3 as the visitors this season.
