The Maple Leafs named Keith Acton, Dallas Eakins and Randy Ladouceur as assitant coaches on Thursday.

The 48-year-old Acton will enter his seventh season on the Maple Leafs' coaching staff. He joined the team on August 4, 2000 after he spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach with the New York Rangers. Prior to that he was an assistant/associate coach for four seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers.

Eakins joined the coaching ranks as an assistant coach under Maurice with the 2005-06 Toronto Marlies. The 39-year-old retired as a player from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League in 2004.

Ladouceur spent eight seasons (1997 to 2004) as a Carolina Hurricanes' assistant coach on Paul Maurice's staff. The 46-year-old also held the role of director of player development and pro scout for Carolina from January 2004 to December 2005. Ladouceur was head coach of the Ontario Hockey League's Oshawa Generals from January 2005 to March 2006.
