Three unanswered power-play goals from the Monarchs in the second period helped Manchester increase its lead in the Atlantic with a 5-2 win over Springfield on the road.

The Monarchs are 23-12-6-1 on the year and at 53 points, lead the Atlantic Division by six points.

Five different players tallied for Manchester, including Matt Moulson who led the way with a goal and an assist on the evening.

Jason LaBarbera backstopped Manchester with 31 saves to earn his 20th win of the year.

David Spina and Randy Rowe scored for the Falcons, who dropped their fifth-straight contest.
