Lewiston, ME - In a game that ended up being a lot closer than it should have been, the MAINEiacs still came away with the win defeating the Sea Dogs 3-2. In the opening period, the MAINEiacs found themselves shorthanded for most of the period, having to kill off 6 minor penalties. Despite that fact, the score remained tied at 0 after 20 minutes.

In the second, the Sea Dogs jumped out in the lead as Francois Gauthier scored his 5th on the season from Ryan Sparling. The MAINEiacs would battle back in the latter half of the second as Stefano Giliati scored a nifty goal on a spin-shot from the slot to tie it up.

In the third, the MAINEiacs took control of the game as Faubert would score his 21st followed by Chris Tutallo's 12th (power play). Saint John was able to bring the game within one as Olivier Painchaud scored his first on the season, but that would be as close as they would come.

Tonight's game marked the return of former MAINEiacs goaltender Travis Fullerton who played a strong game for the Sea Dogs making 33 saves and earning the game's 2nd star. Lewiston's Jonathan Bernier recorded the win blocking 23 shots.
