Calgary, AB (Sports Network) - Roberto Luongo stopped 27 shots to help the Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 victory over the Calgary Flames at Pengrowth Saddledome.

Brendan Morrison had a goal and an assist and Alexandre Burrows and Trevor Linden each added a goal for the Canucks, who have won their last four games.

Matthew Lombardi scored both goals and Miikka Kiprusoff stopped 26 shots in the loss for the Flames, who had a two-game winning streak stopped.

Vancouver drew first blood in the game when Linden notched his fifth goal of the season at the 7:54 mark of the first period.

The Canucks made it a 2-0 game when Morrison scored on the power play with 8:03 left in the first.

Lombardi scored his first goal of the contest six minutes into the second period while the Flames were shorthanded to make it a 2-1 game.

The Canucks, though, grabbed themselves a 3-1 lead when, on a 2-on-1, Burrows skated down the right side, got Kiprusoff out of position and tucked the puck into the net behind the goaltender with 4:31 left in the second.

The Flames made it a one-goal game again when Lombardi got the puck, skated down the left wing using his body to shield off a defender and snapped a wrister from the left circle that went into the right corner of the net with 2:37 left in the second.
