NEW YORK (AP) - Henrik Lundqvist made 30 saves in posting his second straight pre-season shutout, and Adam Hall's late second-period goal was the difference in the New York Rangers' 1-0 victory over the Boston Bruins on Wednesday night.

Lundqvist has been in just two exhibition games as he prepares for his second NHL season, but hasn't shown any rust from the light workload. He followed up his 22-save effort against New Jersey last Wednesday with another perfect complete-game performance for the Rangers (4-1).

Boston's Tim Thomas also went the whole way and looked good in making 27 saves. He has been touched for only three goals on 78 shots in three exhibition games.

His only blemish Wednesday was Hall's second goal of the pre-season.

After the Bruins lost the puck inside the New York blue line, Hall and Martin Straka sped the other way up the ice on a 2-on-2 rush.
