Hockey Development Centre Ontario announced earlier today its roster for the province's Under 17 team that will participate in the upcoming 2007 Canada Winter Games. Ontario will be one of thirteen teams (10 provinces, Northwest Territories, Yukon and Nunavut) to take part in the week-long event.

Being named to the 20-man roster was Soo Greyhounds rookie forward James Livingston. The Newmarket, ONTARIO native is one of eighteen OHLers to make the team.

The Hounds 2006 first-round pick recently entered the Christmas break after playing in all of the Hounds 36 first-half games while accumulating 2 goals and 2 assists. His first goal came on November 18th versus Guelph.

James and Team Ontario will depart for Whitehorse, Yukon on February 21st while action takes place between February 24th and March 1, 2007. Ontario will be in Pool C along with Team Manitoba and Team PEI. A schedule of games will be posted on the HDCO website when it becomes available.
