I don't know about defencively, but offencively I'm sure that they'll be much better than most people seem to think they will be. As for Lupul: Well, they may not have won the Pronger deal, but he's a very good player with some top line potential. Him and Hemsky should be duking it out for that spot, and competition is usually a good thing.

And I wasn't sure whether or not Sykora is a Centerman or a RW, and I think Reasoner's a centerman. Whatever the case be, if Pisani plays close to the way he did in the playoffs, he should easily take one of their spots and move up (I'm not certain of the position he plays either though). ;)

As a whole, Roli is key. If he plays well then the Oilers should make the playoffs.

I saw some highlights from the game yesterday.

It looks like Sykora is manning the point from where Pronger used to, and I think that's a great choice on MacT's part.

He has a great one-timer that he used in NJ when he was on the "A Line" with Arnott and Elias, and he ws strutting his stuff yet again last night netting 2 assists from the position.

Something tells me Edmonton will do fine in that category.

Here's my shot at it. Officially on the Oilers site Sykora is listed as a center. Also they only have 3 RW on their site so I flipped Moreau over.

Line #2: Torres-Stoll-Hemsky
Line #3: Mihknov-Sykora-Pisani
Line #4: Winchester-Reasoner-Moreau

They've sent Schremp and Gilbert down today, but it's to the AHL this time he should be getting some chances this year if injuries occur.
