DALLAS (AP) - Trevor Daley and Eric Lindros scored in a 60-second span in the first period and Marty Turco stopped all 11 shots he faced in two periods in the Dallas Stars' 3-1 pre-season victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on Friday night.

Janne Niinimaa also scored for the Stars (2-2), who killed nine Phoenix power-play chances in the first two periods.

Lindros seems ot be paying off for Dallas. I wish Toronto had kept him, but it's a little too late for that now.

Niinimaa scored too. Good for him. I hope he can re-gain his form from a few years ago.
