TheDow Event Center is home to lots of exciting action this Saturday, with the Spirit hosting the Owen Sound Attack at 7:11 PM. Prior to the Spirit match-up, Detroit Red Wings legends, doctors and EMTs will hit the ice for the second annual MCVI Foundation Shocks and Saves charity game, supported by MMR and presented by Biotronik ‘Excellence for Life'. The Shocks and Saves game, which supports the healthy heart awareness and the Healthy Hope Foundation, starts at 4:15 PM.

LIMITED TICKETS REMAIN! Less than 300 tickets remain for Saturday's event, with only single seating available in the upper level. A Spirit ticket dated for February 28th is good for both events.

The event raises funds to place AED's at area establishments and to create awareness for the healthy heart cause by pitting local doctors against local paramedics and EMT's. Also joining in on the pre-game charity event are several Detroit Red Wings legends, including Jiri Fischer, Shawn Burr, Joey Kocur, Dave Lewis and Larry Murphy!

During and after the game, fans will have the opportunity to bid on an assortment of autographed hockey memorabilia or one of the EXCLUSIVE Saginaw Spirit game worn ‘Detroit Red Wings inspired' jerseys!

To purchase your tickets, please visit the Official Saginaw Spirit Ticket and Merchandise Store at 5789 State Street in Saginaw or call the Spirit at 989-497-7747.

Additional Shocks and Saves support brought to you by:

Biotronik ‘Excellence for Life', WNEM TV5, Zoll Medical Corporation, Boston Scientific, Covenant HealthCare, Michigan CardioVascular Institute, MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland, and St. Mary's of Michigan.
