TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Martin St. Louis scored 3:25 into overtime as the Tampa Bay Lightning overcame a two-goal deficit to post a 3-2 victory over the Atlanta Thrashers on Friday night.

St. Louis picked up a loose puck behind the net before skating into the right circle and scoring the game-winner on a wrist shot.

The Lightning forced overtime when Dan Boyle scored his second power-play goal of the game with 20.5 seconds left in the third. Boyle's defected blue-line shot went in off Thrashers defenceman Andy Sutton.

Jason Krog and Steve Rucchin had the Atlanta goals. Kari Lehtonen had preserved a 2-1 lead when he made an outstretched pad save on Vincent Lecavalier during a breakaway with nine minutes to play in the third.
