Lethbridge Hurricanes back in action this weekend

The Canes will be taking the momentum from their Wednesday night win over Medicine Hat into the weekend action as they take on the Prince George Cougars tonight. The Cougars will be looking to redeem themselves after their last match up against the Canes on October 21, 2008; on that night the Canes skated away with a 6-1 win over Prince George, outshooting the Cougars 40-11. The Cats are coming to town after winning three in a row as they continue their trip through the Central Division.

The Canes will then head up Highway 2 for a Saturday match up against the Rebels. It will be the third meeting between these two teams. In their last match-up the Canes blanked the Rebels 5-0. Colton Sceviour a Red Deer native had two goals and an assist, while Carter Ashton found the net once and added 2 assists and Garrett Taylor netted his first WHL career goal.
