PITTSBURGH (CP) - John LeClair, who scored 50 or more goals in three consecutive NHL seasons, was demoted by the Pittsburgh Penguins to the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday.

The move was made after no other NHL team claimed the 37-year-old left-winger off waivers. LeClair had two goals and five assists in 21 games with the Penguins this season.
