CALGARY (CP) - Brady Leavold scored twice, including the game winner in overtime, as the Swift Current Broncos rallied to beat the Calgary Hitmen 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Sunday night.
The Broncos (22-21-1-1) trailed 2-0 until Leavold scored a power-play goal at 16:34 of the third period. With netminder Travis Yonkman pulled for an extra attacker, Geordie Wudrick tied the game with 22.5 seconds left in the third.
Swift Current netminder Travis Yonkman made 48 saves to keep his team in the game before Leavold won the game for the Broncos in overtime. With the win, Swift Current ended a three-game losing skid.
