Leafs' White out 3-4 weeks

Add defenceman Ian White to the Toronto Maple Leafs' injuries.

Sources tell TSN White suffered a shoulder separation in Tuesday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes and will be sidelined for 3-4 weeks.

An MRI today determined the extent of the injury.

White slammed into the end boards late in the second period while pursuing a potential icing call with the Hurricanes' Chad Larose, crumpling his left arm in the process.

Yeah, I kind of expected it to be bad. :(

Even though for the most part he's been decent at best (defencively), he was playing very well as of late.

Now I guess we'll get to see Staffan Kronwall again... if he's healthy. I don't mind that.
