GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - George Laraque scored on a tip-in with 3:56 remaining to lift the Phoenix Coyotes past the Edmonton Oilers 3-2 on Thursday night.

Ladislav Nagy and Patrick Fischer also scored for the Coyotes, who rallied from a 2-0 deficit for their second win in six pre-season games.

Alerxei Mikhnov and Ron Schremp scored first-period goals for the Oilers, who fell to 5-2.

Laraque redirected Keith Ballard's backhander from the top of the left faceoff circle past Jussi Markkanen for his first goal with the Coyotes.

Mikhnov gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead just 21 seconds into the game, skating in on Michael Morrison and scoring on a soft wrist shot. Schremp made it 2-0 at 16:04 of the period on a shot from the right faceoff circle.
