BRAMPTON, Ont. (CP) - Kyle Sonnenburg scored the power-play winner at 3:45 in the third period to lead the Brampton Battalion to a 2-1 victory over the Peterborough Petes in Ontario Hockey League Sunday.

Matt Auffrey added for the Battalion (9-14-1-2).

Zach Bogosian put away the lone goal for Peterborough (11-12-0-0).

After a scoreless opening period, Matt Auffrey put Brampton on the board at the 13:07 mark of the middle frame, taking a pass from John Hughes and cutting towards the net, beating Peterborough goaltender Trevor Cann with a high wrist shot.

Peterborough drew even with 1:15 remaining in the second period, as Bogosian came in from the point and blasted a slapshot past a partially screened Bryan Pitton.
