MEDICINE HAT, Alta. (CP) - Kris Russell scored twice to lead the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 6-4 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday night in Western Hockey League action.
The Caroline, Alta. native scored the first two goals of the game and also had an assist as the Tigers improved to 22-5-2-0 on the season.
Tigers Matt Lowry, Tyler Ennis, David Schlemko and Derek Dorsett, into an empty net, added singles, while goaltender Matt Keetley turned aside 27 of 31 shots in the win.
