(Sports Network) - Two of the bottom feeders in the Western Conference get together for a late-season matchup tonight, as the Chicago Blackhawks visit a Los Angeles Kings squad hoping to build off an impressive victory.

The Kings halted a five-game losing streak by easily besting Edmonton on Monday. Michael Cammalleri scored a pair of goals as Los Angeles dealt the fading Oilers their eighth consecutive defeat, a 5-1 setback at the Staples Center.

Rob Blake added a goal and two assists and Lubomir Visnovsky finished with a pair of helpers in the victory. Mathieu Garon stopped 26 shots to help the Kings kick off a three-game homestand on a positive note.

Despite Monday's win, Los Angeles still remains tied with Phoenix for the fewest points (59) in the West.

Chicago has just two more points than the Kings and Coyotes at the moment. However, unlike their opponent tonight, the Blackhawks are coming off a dismal performance their last time out.
