(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Lightning look to maintain their excellent recent form as the resurgent club wraps up a two-game homestand tonight with a matchup against the lowly Los Angeles Kings.

Tampa Bay is currently on a three-game win streak and is an outstanding 10-2-0 since January 7. The run has vaulted the Lightning past Carolina and into second place in the Southeast Division, where they now trail frontrunning Atlanta by six points.

The Lightning's latest triumph came Saturday against the New York Rangers. Vincent Lecavalier scored the tie-breaking goal with 8:07 remaining in the third period to give Tampa a 3-2 victory.

Johan Holmqvist made the lead stand by stopping 24-of-26 shots, while Martin St. Louis and Dan Boyle each recorded two assists for the Lightning.

Lecavalier now has 33 goals on the season, which ties him with Washington's Alex Ovechkin for the NHL lead, and has racked up 20 points (12 goals, 8 assists) over his last 14 games. St. Louis has amassed 22 points (7 goals, 15 assists) during that same span.

The Kings still have the fewest points in the Western Conference but do enter tonight's contest off their most lopsided victory of this campaign. Michael Cammalleri and Alexander Frolov each compiled two goals and two assists as Los Angeles torched the Florida Panthers, 7-0, Saturday at BankAtlantic Center.
