Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings have reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension with goaltender Dan Cloutier, the team announced on Wednesday. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.

Cloutier, 30, was acquired by the Kings from Vancouver for a second-round selection in the 2007 draft and a conditional selection in the 2009 draft this past July.

Last season with Vancouver, the 6-foot-1, 195-pound native of Mont-Laurier, QC, had an 8-3-1 record with a 3.17 goals against average. He was limited to only 13 games last year due to an injury to his left knee that required him to undergo surgery.

Originally a first-round pick of the New York Rangers, Cloutier has played eight seasons in the NHL, which included stints with the Rangers and Tampa Bay Lightning, and he has a 131-124-33 record with a 2.66 GAA in 318 games.
