(Sports Network) - The Los Angeles Kings try to end their road woes tonight when they visit the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center.
The Kings have lost their last five tilts away from home, and are only 1-6-0 on the road this season.
On Saturday, LA dropped a 6-4 game in Phoenix, as Shane Doan scored two goals to lift the Coyotes.
Anze Kopitar, Tom Kostopoulous, Derek Armstrong and Alexander Frolov each scored a goal for the Kings, who have dropped seven of their last eight games overall.
Mathieu Garon was touched for five goals on 17 shots before being pulled early in the second period. Dan Cloutier played the rest of the game and surrendered one goal on seven shots.
Phoenix scored five unanswered goals en route to the win.
Kopitar continues to be a bright spot in his rookie season, as he leads the Kings with 10 assists and 14 points.
