(Sports Network) - The Ottawa Senators will wrap up a five-game homestand this evening when they welcome the Boston Bruins to Scotiabank Place.

Ottawa is 2-2-0 so far on the residency and is coming off Sunday's easy win over the dismal Philadelphia Flyers. Dany Heatley scored twice and added a primary assist to guide the Senators past Philly, 6-1.

Daniel Alfredsson donated a goal and two assists while Martin Gerber made 20 saves for the Senators, who have won six of their last eight. Ottawa now has 48 points and is just three behind Montreal for second place in the Northeast Division.

The Senators are 10-10-1 as the home team this season.

The Bruins are also coming off a weekend win over the Flyers, as they downed visiting Philadelphia, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon. Marc Savard scored two goals and added two assists to lift Boston at TD Banknorth Garden.

Patrice Bergeron had a goal and an assist and Tim Thomas stopped 29 shots for the Bruins, who halted a three-game losing streak and bounced back from a 10-2 crushing at the hands of the Maple Leafs on Thursday.

Boston defenseman Zdeno Chara sat out the game with an undisclosed body injury. He is questionable for tonight's contest against his former team.
