KAMLOOPS, B.C. (CP) - Brock Nixon had a hat trick and the Kamloops Blazers scored six times in the second period en route to a 9-2 victory over the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday night.

Reid Jorgensen and Travis Dunstall each added a pair of goals while Ray Macias and Matt Kassian had singles for the Blazers (12-4-1-1), who finished with six power-play goals and a shorthanded marker. Kirill Starkov and Brandon Sutter replied for the Rebels (12-6-2-1).
