Justin Hodgman scores two short-handed goals as Erie beats Ottawa 5-3

OTTAWA (CP) - Justin Hodgman scored two short-handed goals Friday night and led the Erie Otters to a 5-3 win over the Ottawa 67's in Ontario Hockey League action.

Luke Gazdic, Ronny Rogers and Josh Kidd also scored for the Otters (9-25-2) who had lost three straight coming into the Ottawa.

The 67's (16-16-2) meanwhile had won six straight but saw their streak come to an end as Jonathan Laniel was solid in the Erie goal.
